How I lost over 100lbs - Part Two - Food & Diet

 


I don't have a magic diet, fancy drinks, surgery or any of that I just made small changes and continue to do so today and it has worked for me. 

First of all I used to eat so bad it's a wonder Im not dead

I used to work across the street from a Mcdonalds and A&W for three years and I would hate to see how much I spent there.  I used to drink 4 litres of pepsi a day.  When I went out to the pubs for those multiple nights a week I'd jam myself full of wings, burgers and you name it, 

Today : 

I start my day with a bowl of cereal 

Between breakfast and lunch I eat a piece of fruit

Lunch is usually a sandwhich or lots of protein

Dinner I eat mostly chicken, fish, steak and pork which hasn't changed.  The small change is I eat ONE plate instead of two.  I eat twice as many vegatables and I cut the potato or pasta in half.

Water : I drink 1.5 - 2litres of water every day and cut the diet pepsi

I have one coffee a day with sugar twin instead of 3 spoons of sugar

Treat Nights : I still reward myself with the occasional bag of chips as a reward because if you cut everything out 100% you're going to have resentment.


Some people count calories and that works for them but what I do seems to be working fine and I workout A LOT which I'll get into in another post.
