Losing For A Purpose - My Biggest Tip

When I first set out on my mission to lose 100lbs I logged in to Twitter & Facebook and posted the following:

"I"m going to lose 100lbs this year and I'm going to donate $1 a pound to my favorite charity"

Posting this kept me accountable and motivated.  When there were days I didn't want to go workout I would think about the Veterans and First Responders this charity helps and it would light my fire.  I would think to myself "I can't let them down"

When I hit my goal eight people matched me and turned my $100 donation into $1500 then someone saw that and matched us all upping the donation to $3000.

My challenge to you is to post the same and challange your friends and family to match you.  Not only will you be helping yourself but you will be helping a charity that you love.

My charity of choice is CAN PRAXIS.  A equine therapy program that helps First Responders and Veterans with PTSD.  The thing I love about them is they include their family members to help them learn how to deal with living with someone with PTSD.

Will you make a pledge today?
